WINEMAKER NOTES This inaugural vintage of 57 Octaves below Middle C is a unique combination of varietals made with differing fermentation styles. Tempranillo fermented hot and fast while the remaining fermented low and slow. The must was punched down multiple times a day to ensure nice extraction. Only free run wine was selected to be bottled. I used a mix of puncheons and 265 liter barrels. The wine was racked once before bottling in May2022.

TASTING NOTES: Bold and ripe but vivacious and layered on the nose, this blend of 56% Tempranillo, 30% Syrah, 7% Mourvèdre and 7% Grenache offers aromas of baked berry, toasty oak and chai spice. The palate grips in a firm yet forgiving way, as a vibrant acidity pushes flavors of dark fruit, brown spice and vanilla bean through the palate. very fine and polished with succulent black and blue fruit in the middle and lengthy acidity. Long and luscious. Drink or hold.
